Why is my Action Center tray icon missing?

My Action Center tray icon is missing for a while and even after I right click and click properties on the tray, I can't turn it back on since it's grayed out. I tried methods of editing the registry, but no luck.

    Your Regedit suggestion worked, only I didn't have to restart.  The effect was immediate.  Thanks, dude! :)

    Dear Gerry C J Cornell

    I posted here 2 days ago, and you moved my post to a new thread and nicely answered my query. I wrote back, including the information that you asked for, which consisted in details about my system and links to 3 files uploaded on my one drive. Since then my original "community account" was blocked and all the Microsoft agents I chatted with have no idea how to unblock it. They advised me to created this new account to ask you, the moderator, to unblock my original account.

    What I see when I try to login with my original account is "your profile has been blocked". Nothing else.

    I do not have the power to restore your original profile or the missing thread. I have therefore raised the problem in the Moderators Forum. The link you provided is to the missing thread. Can you post a link here to your blocked profile?
