Hi guys,
Just tried to create a recovery USB drive. But I find that "We can't create a recovery drive on this PC. Some required files are missing. To troubleshoot problems when your PC can't start, use your Windows installation disc or media."
Uh?
Is a fresh Windows 8 x64 (RTM) installation. Only thing that I can think of is it has UEFI and Secure Boot enabled.
Ideas?

well whenever i try to do that it says "we can't create a recovery drive on this pc" and says some required files are missing......I have Win 10 and believe me it's awesome but some bugs need to be fixed like this!!! I cant connect to the internet with minecraft, steam or any other frickin app that requires wifi!!! I need wifi! plz some 1 respond to me as soon as possible cuz i need to uphold my youtube channel plz!!!!!!

I Have this issue and after these steps the problem is solved::
Open command prompt in elevated mode and type:
reagentc /disable
reagentc /setreimage /path \?\GLOBALROOT\device\harddisk0\partition1\Recovery\WindowsRE
reagentc /enable
Try to use Recovery Disk Creator again.

Hi if you have only one primary hard drive, usually the (C:) drive and create a partition on this (C:) drive, you will be denied to create a system image of your system or any other sort of recoveries, because the partition belongs to the (C:) drive.
Your best option is to purchase and 80 or 160 GB hard drive and install it in your computer (If it's a desktop computer).
They are not expensive and you can get them from 'Micro Center", at this URL :
After you install your newly purchased Hard drive, right click on the Start Menu icon in the taskbar, chose "Disk Management".
You will see you new hard drive.
Right click on it and chose Create a new partition, then follow the instructions, and after the completion of the automatic format, your new hard drive will be visible in "This PC" or when you click on the "File Explorer" folder, located on the taskbar.
In that new HD you can create/store your backup/ restore and a system image.
Also there you can also save your pictures/ music/videos and other important files.
Forgot to mention : you will also need to purchase an 8GB USB flash drive ( they are very cheap).
You will need it in order to create a recovery USB flash drive, that you will have to insert in a USB port prior starting or rebooting, when you need to troubleshoot a problem or restore your computer, using the System image you created and saved in you new Hard drive.
During reboot or restart Pressing on the CORRECT F1, F2 or F11, F12 key AT THE PROPER TIME, will give you the option to start/reboot from your USB recovery flash drive.

This does not work for me.
DISKPART shows my RECOVERY partition (900MB) is in Disk 1 Partition 1.
When I follow the instructions
reagentc /setreimage /path \?\GLOBALROOT\device\harddisk1\partition1\Recovery\WindowsRE [ENTER]
I get the following message
REAGENTC.EXE: The specified path was not found
My data SSD is Harddisk 0 and my system SSD is Harddisk 1
