What does the error code c101b000 represent?

I was getting this error code as I was attempting to install an application from the Marketplace. The application will download perfectly, but when it tries to install the application, it would continuously give me this same error code. This occurred on multiple application installation attempts, so I know it is not a problem with one specific application that I am attempting to install. I am completely lost on what in the world this might be. I need help here.

I received the same error message when installing multiple apps.  The app downloads but when it goes to install (at about the 51% mark in the status bar), it errors out and goes to the App list.  The app name is shown but under the name it says "attention required".  Clicking the app shows the app in Marketplace Downloads with "Attention required.  Tap here."  Clicking gives "<app name> There is a problem completing your request.  Try again later.  Error code: c101b000" with retry and close buttons.  Retry ends up giving the same behavior.  This occurred even after a shutdown and restart of the phone.

However...  After trying a few times, one of the apps did indeed install.  I still have another which is giving the error but I'll keep trying.

Ro, your solution doesn't work, but your msg seems block other advices/solutons.

    Guys,

This issue has been ongoing for 5 years and nobody seems to of found a resolution to it. I found this help guide at windows10help.net

    1. Try connecting to other internet connection or Wi-Fi.
    2. Check for Windows updates available for your phone.
    3. Go to Downloads and cancel all the pending downloads.
    4. Perform a soft reset.

You should have your phone turned on. Press and hold the v olume down and  Power buttons until your phone vibrates and restarts.

Please note that you shouldn’t touch the device screen during the process not even when the ‘slide down to power off’ prompt appears.

After performing a soft reset,  wait for 3-5 minutes before trying to download the application again.

This seems to of worked for me, although it could be a marketplace problem as a lot of the messages that come to this page all seem to appear on the same day. If this doesn't work for you, it's probably a marketplace problem. I would suggest cancelling your downloads and trying again in a few hours time.

    All the best

This is a problem with the store on Microsoft's side which reoccurs every few weeks. There is absolutely nothing anyone can do except wait for it to be fixed by MS. There is no point in performing any resets or, God forbid, a complete firmware reinstall. This is not an issue with any device, it's on the store servers.
