I get a Blue Screen when running defrag

like the title I get a BSOD when running defrag. When i analyzed my disk it said that it was 4% fragmented so i ran the defrag and up popped my BSOD. I am switching to a ne HDD tomorow so i can see if that stops these BSODs from happening, but for now i am wondering what is causing the BSOD.

Yeah.

Go look in C:\Windows\System32\drivers

Right click on athurx.sys and choose Properties. Look at modified date on Details tab. It should be from May 2011.

Since you're not able to update normally, do like this:

Right click on the driver .sys you downloaded from my link at Drivers\Win7\x64\

Choose copy.

Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers

Right click in blank white space and choose paste. Choose replace or similar when it asks.

Reboot.

Ok i Got it and now the date is 6/18/11. i believe it is now, for real, fixed. thanks again
