I get a Blue Screen when running defrag

like the title I get a BSOD when running defrag. When i analyzed my disk it said that it was 4% fragmented so i ran the defrag and up popped my BSOD. I am switching to a ne HDD tomorow so i can see if that stops these BSODs from happening, but for now i am wondering what is causing the BSOD.

    Running Windows 7 64-bit OS. After about 30-60 minutes of running my computer gives me a BSOD. This is what it says:

    If this is the first time you have seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again follow these steps:

    Check to be sure you have adequate disk space. If a driver is identified in the stop message, disable the driver or check with the manufacturer for driver updates. Try changing video adapters.

    Check with your hardware vendor for any BIOS updates. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use safe mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select Advanced Startup Options, and then select safe mode.

    This has happened 7 or 8 times on the computer i am building. I got a new power supply because i thought that was the problem and now i have 600 watts (up from 200 that i borrowed from an old dell). This did not seem to fix the problem. I believe i have the latest BIOS as well

    My computer parts are:

    ASRock z68 Pro3 MOBO

    Intel core-i5 2500 CPU (not the unlocked model) with stock heatsink

    8 gigabytes of HyperX RAM DDR3 PC3 1333

    Seagate barracuda 80 gigabyte HDD (also from old dell)

    Diablotek DA series 600 watt PSU

    Integrated graphics intel 3000 in MOBO and CPU (Until i get a GPU)

    No sound drivers

    AOC 21 inch monitor

    Thanks for any help or advice, I really want to start gaming and working on this PC again.

    Hi,

    Please copy files from C:\Windows\Minidump folder to desktop. Upload the latest 3 or so to Sky Drive then paste a link here.

    We'll fix it all up for ya.
