I get a Blue Screen when running defrag

like the title I get a BSOD when running defrag. When i analyzed my disk it said that it was 4% fragmented so i ran the defrag and up popped my BSOD. I am switching to a ne HDD tomorow so i can see if that stops these BSODs from happening, but for now i am wondering what is causing the BSOD.

    There might have been other problems that needed fixing as above, but if you got rid of that j driver, that was definitely progress for sure.

    Awesome about uninstalling Netgear stuff. I would have said that straight away, but hadn't realized it was actually installed. I thought the j driver was part of the simple driver installation you previously did and not from a full blown software install.

    There was no jumpstart wireless, but i uninstalled the netgear bloatware, deleted the jswpslwfx and now my system is running crash free :)

    I believe that the problem was in the netgear software instead of a "jumpstarter wireless" but what do i know... anyway, thanks a lot for all of the help and i hope to never have another crash!!! If i do though, i know who the expert is :)

    Same as I've said through the thread.

    Must get rid of the jswpslwfx.sys by deleting - then reboot - then install latest Atheros in device manager.

    Before rebooting, you can also look for jswpslwfx here in Regedit and delete the subkey:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services

    Or I've found a post with a way that Auggy suggests to rid of jswpslwfx:

    Open the Network and Sharing Center on the Taskbar > Change adapter settings > right-click the "Wireless Network Connection" > Properties > click on "Jumpstart Wireless Intermediate Driver" and select "Uninstall" > proceed with the uninstall
