Error recover web page, Internet Explorer not responding

Original Title: Internet not responding issues,

When I try to go to a web site 9 out of 10 times I get a pop up at the bottom of my page saying msn.com, or other websites, not responding. Then the question box opens to says recover web page? I click yes, but nothing happens!

Hi,

1.       When was the last time it was working fine?

2.       Which version of Internet Explorer is installed on the computer?

3.       Have you made any recent software or hardware changes on the computer?

Method 1:

I would suggest you to run the Fixit from the link mentioned below and check.

Check if the issue occurs, if it does proceed to method 2.

**Note:**Resetting Internet Explorer is not reversible. After a reset, all previous settings are lost and can't be recovered. Rather than resetting everything, you might want to reset specific settings in the Internet Options dialog box or delete your webpage history.

Note: There is a chance of data loss if any files are infected and which may be deleted in the clean up process.

    We have hundreds of clients who are experiencing this same issue. All on Win 10 and IE11 with all updates. At this time there is no IE Fixit for Win 10. Resetting IE and or running Disc Cleanup and or CCleaner does little to resolve this. This is in msn.com , facebook.com, etc. Std web pages. Systems are clean, no infections. Firefox or Chrome do not seem to have this issue. Sad but true. I still prefer IE, but am starting to doubt my reasons.

    Are all computers connected to a domain network?

    You may try using software rendering instead of hardware rendering and check.

    To all MS Employee's that may be reviewing this page - You have basically made IE 11 at my office useless because nobody wants to use it because it doesn't work - I have tried everything on this page with the exception of sfc/scannow because that is not the problem. You have secured IE 11 so much that it's now inoperable. Was that the plan?

    If it does not help, then please run Microsoft safety scanner to check for any viruses or malwares in the computer.

    Note: Any data files that are infected may only be cleaned by deleting the file entirely, which means there is a potential for data loss.

        For 3 MONTHS I have tried everything under the sun to get IE to work.   I tried FIXIT over and over but it wouldn't even load to diagnose the problem.  I am EXTATIC your link took me to a FIXIT that WORKED and really fixed it-  WOO HOO!!!   

                                           HAPPY NEW YEAR!

    I have run this fix it often for this recover webpage issue  problem is one persistent  PITA  !

    Every time I  run the fix it it says it's fixed the problem which was data execution prevention was disabled...HOW DOES IT KEEP GETTING DISABLE and what can I do to stop it from happening ?!
