Original Title: Internet not responding issues,

When I try to go to a web site 9 out of 10 times I get a pop up at the bottom of my page saying msn.com, or other websites, not responding. Then the question box opens to says recover web page? I click yes, but nothing happens!

Hi,

1.       When was the last time it was working fine?

2.       Which version of Internet Explorer is installed on the computer?

3.       Have you made any recent software or hardware changes on the computer?

Method 1:

I would suggest you to run the Fixit from the link mentioned below and check.

Fix Internet Explorer add-on problems when IE hangs or freezes

http://support.microsoft.com/mats/ie_freezes_or_crashes/en-us

Check if the issue occurs, if it does proceed to method 2.

Method 2:

Follow the steps from the link mentioned below and check

Tips for solving problems when Internet Explorer crashes or stops working

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/tips-for-solving-problems-with-internet-explorer

**Note:**Resetting Internet Explorer is not reversible. After a reset, all previous settings are lost and can't be recovered. Rather than resetting everything, you might want to reset specific settings in the Internet Options dialog box or delete your webpage history.

Note: There is a chance of data loss if any files are infected and which may be deleted in the clean up process.

Hope this helps and keep us posted if you need further assistance.

    Hello,

Thank you for updating on the issue.

I would suggest you to try enabling data execution prevention using these steps:

    a. Click Start and type cmd in start search box.

    b. Right click cmd in search results and click run as administrator.

    c. Type the following command in command prompt and press Enter.

    bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx AlwaysOn

    Please keep us posted.

    Thank you

In my case the pop up message "Web page not responding, click to reload page" occurs on web pages with video files. The video area turns green and then the web page freezes and stops responding. I have Windows 7 and use IE 11.0.9600.17691. I've tried running the fix it utility and Security scanner, but these did not solve the problem.

Anybody know the cause or solution to this problem?

Will these "recover page" issues be dealt with in the the new Windows 10 coming out soon? I'm afraid to get free update because it may have even more issues with it. Comments?
