Refresh - this fails with the error 0xc000021a

System Restore - this fails with 0xc000021a

Safe mode boot does not work

I can start the cmd console

Any suggestions as to how to proceed?

    Hi

I used advanced boot menu on system startup options pressing F8 just after turning on my laptop. when advanced boot menu showed up, there are some options you can select. i selected "force drivers to have signature disabled..." and boot continued and the problem was gone.

Hi, I am using the Win 10 preview 9926.  This particular error has hit several times.  Normally I simply do a normal reboot and it clears itself.  This happens to me with the preview a couple of time a month, sometime more.

    Hi Yuri,

Thanks for this. It worked for me on an HP G70 laptop that had been upgraded from Vista to Win7 to Win8 many months ago and would not start a few days ago after a  Windows update. I tried other suggestions in this forum without success but this did the trick. Thanks again!

    Hey Carl

Actually i don't know any alternative way to boot without driver signature enforcement.

Buy if you have problems with your tablet's keyboard, try connecting a hardware keyboard to tablet and press boot keys using that.

    I hope it help.

    Good luck
