Ken Blake sounds like condescending. News to Ken: Window 8 blows. I have wasted 2 weeks of my life learning it and I hate it more than we I first opened it. It should not be as hard as flying a plane. So, that is a terrible analogy.
Hidden essential functions? side scrolling menus? No capability to configure as previous windows version? Internet explorer is configured different if launched from the start screen instead of desktop. I can go on.
When I close steam I am forced to the start screen instead of my desktop. I never want to see the start screen ... ever.
Here is some advice to Microsoft. Don't try to be Apple. I am not sure who you are trying to please. I will never have a touch screen or a tablet so I don't need an operating system for that.
