I HATE Windows 8. This is the worst OS ever invented.

How in the  does anybody operate in this environment. I now have 20 windows open and can't figure out how to close a damn thing. I know the weather in Paris and couldn't give a. This SUCKS!!! This is an improvement? Can I get Windows XP or 7 back? This SUCKS!!! I can't get around. I can't close a window. I can't update any of these stupid tiles. This SUCKS!!! Any advice from anybody else out there? Frustrated beyond belief, John

    Could not agree more.  I'm giving Microsoft another month (Feb 2013).  If they can't give normal PC users a way to REVERT to shell free power use, than I'll bite the bullet and switch our 3 biz computers to MAC.  Unbelievable that Microsoft is forcing this OS upon us.. Why, why why??

    You're being forced to use Windows 8 by Microsoft?

    There's an old argument that still doesn't hold water.  Just substitute Windows 8 with Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, etc.   Same argument has been made in the newsgroups/frums for a while about just about every one of those OSes if not more.

    Save yourself time - if you are going to make a statement like that and you have the gumption to do it - do it now - don't waste anyone elses time with anymore of the crud here and make whatever switch you think will make your life better.

    Hey, guys and gals,

    I figured it out! I was just looking at my mouse pad on my new Lenovo, and over on the right-hand side of the mouse pad, I found a vertical line of dots impressed into the pad, about 3/8" in from the edge. Out of curiosity, I tested the area. When I touch that area, the Demon Charms come up!

    I touched the mouse pad all over, outside of that area, and the Charms didn't come up at all.

    The right-side area of the Lenovo mouse pad is the source of the Demon Charms. As long as I don't touch that part, they don't come up. I can accept that as my solution.
