2. When exactly are you getting this message?
3. What is the complete error message or error code?
I would suggest you to perform a SFC scan and check if it helps.

Microsoft is not installing this upon request. What's with that?
A day after downloading Win 10 a notification comes up on the screen whenever I start the computer that the file MSVCP100.dll is missing and needs to be reinstalled on the computer.
An ms techie told me I couldn't use the new Edge browser and Norton at the same time. We disabled Edge, and I went back to using Internet Explorer. Error message hasn't shown up since.
