Based on our investigation, it seems that there are some corrupted remnant files from your previous installation that might cause the application to malfunction. To remove these files, you need to perform a clean installation of Windows Essentials. To do
this, please follow these steps carefully.
1. Uninstall Windows Essentials using the CMD line parameter, this will remove all
the traces of the previous installation in your system including corrupted files. To do this, please read the note and then follow the instruction in the solution article below:
Note: Make sure
that you place the wlarp.exe on the correct folder before performing the steps in the solution article. The file should be in this path:
c:\program files (x86)\windows live\installer folder****or
c:\program files\windows live\installerfolder.

2. Disable startup programs. This will isolate the issue if some of the startup programs in your computer might cause the problem. Do steps 1-3 from this

3. Temporary Disable anti-virus/firewalls/third party security software.
**Note:**Disabling the firewall may make your computer or your network vulnerable to attack by malicious users
or by malicious software such as viruses. Please make sure that you do not have any other Internet Explorer window open or any other programs running while trying to install Windows Live products. Once, you are able to install our services, please turn your
firewall back on.
