Games For Windows Live Update Problem (Error: 80070643)

Hi,

Just installing this month's updates, and I'm having a problem installing one of them. Games For Windows Software 3.5 doesn't seem to want to update and is giving the error code 80070643. Had a quick search round and can't seem to find anything useful. Not sure what's causing this. Anybody else having this issue?

Got the same error it means that the program is not on your system it is for Microsoft Games.

Sorry Sparky, but I do have MS Live Games that I'm subscribed to on this computer — on my laptop which does not have MS Live Games installed, it doesn't try to install any updates that pertain to it. I suspect others in this thread also have MS games.

It's not on the server for download anymore. It was removed from the update servers today.

It was still trying to install it when I turned my laptop on today, but about an hour later, it wasn't offered anymore.
