Games For Windows Live Update Problem (Error: 80070643)
Hi,
Just installing this month's updates, and I'm having a problem installing one of them. Games For Windows Software 3.5 doesn't seem to want to update and is giving the error code 80070643. Had a quick search round and can't seem to find anything useful. Not sure what's causing this. Anybody else having this issue?

2012-03-13T19:19:29+00:00 I'm having the same prob. Used the fixit - no change. Tried to find the actual update to download manually - just get redirected to the very Windows Live support page. No exclamation mark in the shutdown icon. Did do a restart (since the update was bundled with all the other "patch tuesday" updates but that didnt help. Am on Vista Business SP2 32-bit.

2012-03-13T18:55:42+00:00 Ok, got it!
Ran Fix it as I said above, but this time the ShutDown button had the little orange exclamation icon beside it.
When clicked on it said "Shut Down and install update".
So I did, and upon cold re-start (not re-boot), Windows Update said all was installed and everything was OK.
