Games For Windows Live Update Problem (Error: 80070643)

You need to uninstall Windows Live Essentials first and then process with the update.

I did what Kim said.  I get the following in the MSI.  But it keeps asking me to install the update.

Newer version already installed.

I know this isn't a fix for those who use it, but if you don't you can uninstall Games for Windows Marketplace and Games for Windows LIVE Runtime and this update won't be offered anymore.

Limited number of characters to be able to post..here seems to be the important part of my install.  It appears that it thinks I've got a newer Live ID Sign-In Assisitant.
