How to provide feedback to microsoft?

I will not contradict the MVP whom said that to you. However, I will point out that when products have been released in Beta form the posts placed in these boards. They did provide a lot of feedback which Microsoft listened to and shaped future products accordingly. You will also see Microsoft Support Advisors comment directly in these same boards to provide solutions, workarounds and assistance. They will also take any feedback on board and relay that on your behalf. There are various option to provide feedback from Email, Phone, Facebook, TechNet, Connect, Help pages, Product pages, within a program. Sometimes actual feedback options might be closed due to issues or ongoing improvements already being under taken, therefore it is better to close as the product you are about to comment on is about to change. However, there is still other option by sending email, phone, or just use Facebook and post on the relevant product page, Microsoft, Windows, Windows Phone, Office, OneDrive etc. etc.

There was no specific request for any device feedback only information given was a Sample and that was of the product Excel, which I located and provided in under forty seconds. Therefore anyone could complete the same task again with ease or any other information that they require, if they put a little effort into it. I am by no means a walking contacts book and do not provide all the available options of contacting Microsoft, for all of there products. I am merely pointing out that it is easy to make contact as the options are there.

Please do not break my post up into section as you make it confusing and seem incorrect when it is not. You have separated the steps needed to access the feedback section and will not be able to find from the landing page, which is what the first Hyperlink is and which is clearly stated as an order of steps taken by myself. The First Hyperlink that I provide was for that actual website, the next Hyperlink that I provided, that you have omitted from your reply, if you kept reading my post was labelled "Provide Feedback" when you select this Hyperlink it takes the user to all of the Microsoft Office products where the user can select there product of choice in this case Excel and provide feedback. Please re-read my original post and locate the "Correct" Hyperlink provided, by following "all" of the steps before you attempt to condemn a post falsely. As you can see from the below image that the feedback is clearly marked as product specific and is in relation to what was asked. Not a generalization of all products. Also as noted by myself this information was located in under forty seconds, removing the said argument of it being impossible to contact Microsoft and provide feedback, If I could find this option in under forty seconds then I think it's fair to say that it's not hard to make contact or provide feedback.

This is just a few easy and direct options for you to use to provide valued "Feedback" relating to Excel

I have been told by others (including so called Microsoft MVPs) that the Microsoft Answers (community) site is not for providing feedback. I have no idea who's right, but the fact that it is confusing is a problem.

In my opinion, if this community is intended as a place to provide feedback, it should be possible to mark/tag posts as feedback.

To gain greater in-depth options I then selected the "Support" option which is clearly marked at the top of the page next to Products. Then using the pull down tab simply select your product of choice, in this case Excel and just type Feedback. When the page opens second down from the list you will see "Provide Feedback" please open. This is product specific, where you can send your "pat on the backs" or anything else relating to this product. 

This link is for providing feedback on the Mac version of Office only. It is not for the Windows version of Office.
