Any progress, bro? Mine is stuck in 2% for 3 hours now and I'm afraid it takes a week to finish.
Windows 8 PC Reset. Taking toooo long.
Now I understand this will take a long time but I did NOT plan for it to take this long. When I upgraded Windows 7 to Windows 8 the format and upgrade only took 15 minutes. I was having some pc issues and said Hey! How about I use this new reset feature and start over again. WORST MISTAKE EVER! I have no clue what this is doing but this is taking forever. So far this thing moves up 6% every hour. It's been 3 hours now and it's still on 16% Can you all tell me what is this thing doing or is this some sort of error? My hard-drive size is 1TB clean and around 900gb when a OS is installed.

2015-08-01T08:16:38+00:00 No progress. The chat line told me to try a restart, and when I did this it wouldn't reboot, so I'm now waiting for phone support on Monday.
I've posted on a new thread "Windows 10: Reset stuck at 2% for more than 24 hours" and there's been a helpful response with several suggestions, so you might want to check that out? Good luck!

2015-10-14T03:11:11+00:00 I did a full factory reset
mine is stuck at 99% for 2 hours
my computer has 12 gigs of ram and a 2 terabyte hard drive with only 350 gb used
no error has popped up and the screen is still flashing black which is why im doing the factory restore plus sfc /scannow keeps failing cause it cant find gpedit files from something i downloaded to give me (duh) gpedit even tho i had removed what i had added.
my advice folks don't add gpedit to win 10 home my pc had worked great since july til i did that as well as try to find an illegal way to optain a plug in for out look express called bells and whistles that is what really fecked up my computer.
the great newsis i sued ocster back up pro to back up the hard drive to a image file so after i get this peice of **** up and running i can extract my files from the back up so no data lost.
