When you start the reset the is asks you if you want to only delete AppStore the entire thing and start over. If you choose to keep files it will take about 30 min and if you choose to delete everything depending on how much of storage you have used the reset will differ , Windows claims that it will take 2 hours but so far my reset has been going on for 4 hours and its 65% I used only about 23gigs out of 400 , so this will take long is nothing related to any sort of error so it's best to do it over night or when your not using your PC
Windows 8 PC Reset. Taking toooo long.
Now I understand this will take a long time but I did NOT plan for it to take this long. When I upgraded Windows 7 to Windows 8 the format and upgrade only took 15 minutes. I was having some pc issues and said Hey! How about I use this new reset feature and start over again. WORST MISTAKE EVER! I have no clue what this is doing but this is taking forever. So far this thing moves up 6% every hour. It's been 3 hours now and it's still on 16% Can you all tell me what is this thing doing or is this some sort of error? My hard-drive size is 1TB clean and around 900gb when a OS is installed.

2015-12-31T07:18:09+00:00 This laptop I paid 2k for about 5 years ago and I'm surprised the hard rives lasted this long being taken from coast to coast and also being forgotten about in the trunk of my car in sub zero weather. I also dropped it and had to pay 700 to have the screen and a few other things fixed. If your pc is bad still have the HDDs checked it's only like 50$ at a shop to have them checked
