How do I get the latest version of GenuineCheck.exe

From the following WEB page  http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/exe-validation.aspx?id=29156 I downloaded GenuineCheck.exe as required.

However on executing the program I got the following error message

"This version of the Windows Genuine Advantage tool is no longer supported. Please download the newest version and ensure that your system clock is accurate"

Downloaded a copy from Microsoft but the tool requires Windows XP to load.

Is there a Windows 7 version?

So where do I get a copy of the latest version?

You MUST use the 32-bit version of IE9 - not the 64-bit version.

If you're having problem then, check validation at www.microsoft.com/genuine/diag and www.microsoft.com/genuine/validate

    1. try updating the BIOS to the latest available Vista-compliant one, from the manufacturer's website

    this you mean HP right?

Attempt Telephone Activation, and speak to an operator - they will tell you that your current Key is blocked (they should then ask for confirmation of your Product Key).

who do you mean here/ and do you have a number?

Yes - HP are who to go to for BIOS updates.

    telephone activation (operator calls)

     Click on the Start button

    in the Search box, type

    SLUI 4

     and hit the Enter key

follow the instructions, but when asked which service you require by the telephone ansafone, do NOT reply - this should force an operator to respond, who can deal with you

If yu cannot access the wizard for any reason, use the local number for your area from this list....  https://www.microsoft.com/licensing/existing-customers/activation-centers.aspx

I had the same problem. After checking the replies here I tried several things to get the proper file to no avail. I was Operating in Chrome. As a last resort I tried it in IE9 and it validaterd immediatley. I suggest you try this first.
