How do I get the latest version of GenuineCheck.exe

From the following WEB page  http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/exe-validation.aspx?id=29156 I downloaded GenuineCheck.exe as required. 

However on executing the program I got the following error message

"This version of the Windows Genuine Advantage tool is no longer supported. Please download the newest version and ensure that your system clock is accurate"

Downloaded a copy from Microsoft but the tool requires Windows XP to load.

Is there a Windows 7 version?

So where do I get a copy of the latest version?

You MUST use the 32-bit version of IE9 - not the 64-bit version.

If you're having problem then, check validation at www.microsoft.com/genuine/diag and www.microsoft.com/genuine/validate

State your current IE version and full Windows version (e.g., WinXP SP3; WinXP 64-bit SP2; Vista SP2; Vista 64-bit SP2; Win7 32-bit; Win7 32-bit SP1; Win7 64-bit; Win7 64-bit SP1) in your first post.     On the contrary - it DOES work, if you follow teh instructions and go back to the original download page with the Continue button!!

    If you keep direct-downloaind the GenuineCheck tool you have to expect it to fail every time,

    Noel.....Would you please stop repeating the ONLY USE IE 32 bit advice! It has nothing to do with IE9 32bit version. I suggest you re-read this thread in the hope that you realise that IT DOESN'T WORK! People keep telling you this but you seem to keep repeating the SAME advice over and over again and it doesn't work! Repeating it constantly won't help! I've got the same problem as everyone else, I've tried all browsers that it was possible to use... STILL doesn't work. Me visiting the Validation link that keeps getting posted works fine but NOT when one has to download "GenuineCheck.exe" (validation) file before downloading from the MS, site it says it's "NO LONGER SUPPORTED" this has to do with the .exe file and NOT the browser... I shall continue reading this thread until I find someone that might know what they are talking about..... As far as I'm concerned MS need to fix this and quickly!

    I have the same issue on Windows 7 SP1. The GenuineCheck.exe used to work but now doesn't. Just get the expired message. Have tried the steps in the past 6 pages and none of them work. Sure MGADiag works but until they release a new version of GenuineCheck.exe I have an issue
