How do I get the latest version of GenuineCheck.exe

From the following WEB page  http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/exe-validation.aspx?id=29156 I downloaded GenuineCheck.exe as required. 

However on executing the program I got the following error message

"This version of the Windows Genuine Advantage tool is no longer supported. Please download the newest version and ensure that your system clock is accurate"

Downloaded a copy from Microsoft but the tool requires Windows XP to load.

Is there a Windows 7 version?

So where do I get a copy of the latest version?

You MUST use the 32-bit version of IE9 - not the 64-bit version.

If you're having problem then, check validation at www.microsoft.com/genuine/diag and www.microsoft.com/genuine/validate

    You shouldn't even be asked for GenuineCheck using IE.

    If you are then there's something interfering with the User Agent String.

    please go to www.microsoft.com/genuine/diag - what does it have to say?

    GenuineCheck worked for me in June, 2012 when I downloaded several "Validation Required" fixes using Firefox on my Windows 7 64-bit SP1.  Yes, I have updated Firefox.  No, it doesn't work for me using Internet Explorer 8.

    GenuineCheck has never worked on Windows7, AFAIK.

    Have you just updated FireFox?- if so, then it's probably broken what little compatibility it had with the ActiveX controls required for validation.
