Where's Chess Titans in Windows 8?

• Debbie_H, I suppose it is obvious why you haven't replied to the comments of stevenmurphyUS et.al.
• His perspective must be ubiquitous, and you simply have no reasonable answer.
• Of course I assume that  the "Meet Windows 8" person at Microsoft cannot criticize her company in this forum, or even apologize for it;  but I do hope that you make it plain to those up your food-chain of your own concurrence with the comments of stevenmurphyUS .
• For years, most every user I k now has been stunned by how inept or indifferent Microsoft is over making any effort to even try to remove some of the company's tarnish.
• And a discussion or that indifference is boring. I've never participated in it before.
• But, good, plain, old-fashioned Chess Titans has occupied a particular role in my routine for years, as I assume it has for thousands of other users.
• What kind of cost/benefit could Microsoft possibly have balanced to reach this conclusion?    I'll bet that the marketing model Microsoft used to make this decision includes a terribly skewed discount rate, to make the N.P.V. of this game wildly discounted.  That is an old ploy the Army Corps of Engineer used for years to cook the numbers to justify any development plan they cared to pursue.  And that is one reason why that agency has such low cred - even among its ardent supporters.
• Of course Microsoft may no longer have any "supporters" to speak of.  Then the question may simply become  - say on a scale of 1 to 10 -  how much do users and others despise Microsoft,?And is there any reason Microsoft would want to minimize that number?
• Perhaps not.   Maybe a business-culture of discouragement really has contaminated your company so long ago that it is now largely immune & indifferent.
• My own score used to be an indifferent 2 or 3.
• Today, really my first in the Windows 8 environment, (almost entirely caused by the absence of Chess Titans) my score has leaped to at least double what it was before.

 I have bought a Mac Air lap top.

And does THAT have Chess Titans?

I bought Windows 8 and regret it.  I really enjoyed Titans Chess and have remove windows 8.

Microsoft is on the decline.  I have bought a Mac Air lap top.
