Where's Chess Titans in Windows 8?
There doesn't seem to be any Microsoft games installed be default.

If you take a look in the Store, there are several Chess games available there.
You can go to your Start screen by either clicking in the bottom left hand corner or pressing the Windows key, then go to the Store app.
Once in the Store, you can then search for apps by pressing Windows key + C and click Search in the Charms bar, and search for Chess games from there.

When I upgraded my machine, I backed up my windows partition to a different drive, so I still have all the old software available. I followed the instructions at http://www.howtogeek.com/122145/what-happened-to-solitaire-and-minesweeper-in-windows-8/
First, on your Windows 7 computer, navigate to **C:\Program Files**, locate the Microsoft Games folder, and copy it to a USB drive (or other removable media). (I already had that drive mounted, so I just copied)
Next, navigate to the *C:\Windows\System32* folder on your Windows 7 system and copy the CardGames.dll file to the USB drive, as well.
Copy the Microsoft Games folder to its old location at C:\Program Files\ on Windows 8.
Copy the CardGames.dll file to the Solitaire subfolder. You’ll also have to copy this file to the FreeCell, Hearts, and SpiderSolitaire folders if you want to play those games.
Read that bit about running the patcher. After you do that, they will run. They won't show up in menus though, so you will need to create a shortcut for them.

They have been removed and are not available period. Your choices are to Use the store to find one you like from many or use the web to find a third Party Game that way. The one possibility is see silverbacks post above and download from there. Hope this helps and if you need any further assistance please post and we will be glad to assist you.

May I ask why? As far as I'm concerned, Chess Titans plays very
poorly, and there are several much better choices, such as Rybka and
Fritz.
