Dear Mr. Blake:
Thank you for your prompt reply. Since this site is answer.microsoft.com, I thought you might work for the company. I guess you're just a Most Valuable Player?
This is a peer support forum. We are all just users of this version of
Windows here, helping each other if and when we can. We are not
Microsoft employees (not even those of us with "Microsoft MVP" (Most
Valuable Professional) behind our names; that's an honorary title for
having provided consistently helpful advice) except for an occasional
Microsoft contractor or employee.
At any rate, since the site is associated with MS, perhaps some corporate flunky will one day monitor the site and discover there are those of us who are upset over the loss of Chess Titans. It won't do any good, of course.
I'm not as upset as you are, but although I do very little computer
game playing, I agree that Microsoft should have kept all those
Windows 7 games in Windows 8.
However, once again, if you want the games back, it's very easy to
get them.
I looked at the howtogeek site and really feel the same as RobynStephens feels about the site. In the meantime I guess I'll stick with "The Chess LV.100" game.
Your choice entirely.
