Where's Chess Titans in Windows 8?
There doesn't seem to be any Microsoft games installed be default.

If you take a look in the Store, there are several Chess games available there.
You can go to your Start screen by either clicking in the bottom left hand corner or pressing the Windows key, then go to the Store app.
Once in the Store, you can then search for apps by pressing Windows key + C and click Search in the Charms bar, and search for Chess games from there.

It is Quite unfortunate that Chess Titan is removed from windows 8 with no reason. I used to spend 2-5 hours weekly with this game to relax myself. None of the chess game listed in windows store comes nowhere near to Chess Titan.
I am sure lot of effort went into developing chess titan interface, do not waste those efforts for no reason.
As stated above these are available from the posted web site. This is the only way I have found to return these games to my computer. I don't see Microsoft returning these or the start button, plug-ins, etc anytime soon as they removed them by design. I have them installed, along with a start button, and my computer runs great and has never been faster. Microsoft has removed those games from Windows 8 by design. But these can be downloaded and installed from here: http://forums.mydigitallife.info/threads/33814-Microsoft-Games-for-Windows-8. They install flawlessly and run the same as on Win 7. Hope this helps and if you have any other issues or questions post and we will be glad to help you solve them
