Ken Blake - do you know what a tape loop is(was)? You(and the other MS apologists in this thread) sound like one, by repeating your non-answers.
You call me an MS apologist? I'm recommending against a Microsoft
product, and I'm an MS apologist?
But I now see that I repeated myself in this thread. I hadn't realized
that when I posted the message you replied to, and I apologize for
doing that.
The Question is: :"Where is Microsoft Chess Titans for Windows 8?"
-Other games for Windows 8 does not answer the question.
-Other peoples opinions of how poorly a program Chess Titans is, does not answer the question.
That's correct. It doesn't answer the question asked. Instead it
suggests alternatives that the OP perhaps doesn't know about, and in
my view is better than trying to use the Microsoft product. And it's
only a suggestion. If the OP isn't interested in my suggestion, that's
fine.
I too really enjoy Chess Titans as a minor distraction from time to time. I am only a novice player and have no plans to become a chess champion, and installing a top end chess program is a waste of time for me.
Your choice entirely. But if you are interested in becoming a better
player, I recommend that you practice against a program that plays
well. You can learn a lot from it.
And if you are not interested in improving, that's fine with me. Stay
with whatever you want; my comment is nothing but a suggestion.
