Where's Chess Titans in Windows 8?

There doesn't seem to be any Microsoft games installed be default.

Hi RobbieCharles,

If you take a look in the Store, there are several Chess games available there. 

You can go to your Start screen by either clicking in the bottom left hand corner or pressing the Windows key, then go to the Store app. 

Once in the Store, you can then search for apps by pressing Windows key + C and click Search in the Charms bar, and search for Chess games from there.

    Chess Titans is fun. The other versions of chess that I have tried are not. Please forward our request for Chess Titans for Windows 8 to the appropriate parties!

    Thanks for the answer but those game are like little kids chess games in looks, style and usage. (Unless you know of one similar to Chess Titans) I was told there are ways to download a program to install the former w-7 games on w-8. Do you know the best program.

    Seems like Microsoft did not know or care how popular those games were for users.

    So Microsoft is going the way of the cell phone makers and has decided to nickle and dime the consumer to death by charging for simple little games like solitaire and chess titans which had always come gratis before? Very classy move Mr Gates.

    The games from Windows 7 are not available by default in Windows 8.  Keep checking the Windows Store for available games.
