how to completely remove bing desktop from my computer

I uninstalled the Bing Desktop, but when I shut down the computer and it came back up, it was still there.  How can I get rid of it completely?

Bing desktop was released through the windows update system,

Which is where you can Uninstall the update from,

Go to Uninstall a program or Programs and features,

On the top left click on View installed updates,

Scroll the list, it might take a minute or two to completely load all of the updates.

Right click it and click on Uninstall, it should be listed as, Bing desktop search.

P.S.

Change how you receive windows Recommended updates so when you uninstall it, it will not reload.

    To uninstall a program I, normally, go to Start ---; to Control Panel --- to Uninstall a Program. I did that with Bing, and uninstalled it;

    However, that did NOT remove the damned Bing Windows from my desktops.

    I then went back through the above series to ‘View Installed Updates,’ as you recommended, but there was nothing related to ‘Bing’ to view.

    I went through this list twice, looking at the many ‘Security Updates for MS” as well as the ‘Updates for MS,’ and more, but nothing connected with ‘Bing’ showed up. I then double checked on the ‘Installed Dates” and today’s date did not appear for any item.

    I, still, have those damned 'Bing' windows on my desktops.

    Where do I go from here???

    around one year am experience this issue.unfotunately there is no solution from microsoft yet.

    any way to identify which of the many many many updates included this appallingly dreadful "feature"? there is no appearance of the word "bing" in any of my installed updates, but i have indeed changed my update settings so as to choose from now on.

    Control panel, click on Windows updates,

    On the top left click on Change settings,

    After you change the settings,

    Check for windows updates,

    Right click Bing desktop and select Hide.

    Then you can reset the setting to Recommended in the drop down text box,

    But leave the boxes for all users and Recommended updates unchecked.
