how to completely remove bing desktop from my computer

I uninstalled the Bing Desktop, but when I shut down the computer and it came back up, it was still there.  How can I get rid of it completely?

Bing desktop was released through the windows update system,

Which is where you can Uninstall the update from,

Go to Uninstall a program or Programs and features,

On the top left click on View installed updates,

Scroll the list, it might take a minute or two to completely load all of the updates.

Right click it and click on Uninstall, it should be listed as, Bing desktop search.

P.S.

Change how you receive windows Recommended updates so when you uninstall it, it will not reload.

    This is so disturbing, Microsoft spyes on us with their Bing, cannot find any update that mentions bing, cant remove this piece of ****. Wish someone could come with another system so I would not have to use this spyware to make microsoft fatter. None of the ways they say removes it, the only way is to reinstall win 8,1 pro and not make any upgrades.This is the only way to get rid of Bing.

    It's how I was running my win withou that damned Bing. But somehow don't know how microsoft managed to change my preferences and updates were automatically made, and here I am with this piece of of unwanted How much do I have BING...... it's not the program it's the way it is shoved in my throat without wanting it, stopped using Chrome for the same reasons, too much unwanted spyware.

    Sorry it is not about watching your updates.  I just bought a new computer and its already on there.  When I checked updates there were updates already installed going back to May 1, 2013.  I will join any class action lawsuit and contribute my share to the attorneys.

    As far as I can tell there is no way on earth or known to man (except within MS) to remove the malware Bing.  I see people saying how to reset your home page or your default browser.  Either they do not read well or they are simply inept.  I would like to remove Bing form my computer altogether but MS makes this

    impossible.  They also have bought Skype and made it almost unusable.

    I will most certainly ditch everything MS soon now as they are arrogant idiots if they think people will stand for this.

    If anyone has figured it out please respond.
