where is" all programs" in windows 8

To launch your applications, go to the Start Screen by pointing your mouse pointer to the left hand corner of the Windows 8 screen and click it.

Scroll to the right and launch your application.

In the same Start Screen, right click and click All Apps - you should see all installed applications on the system then.

    I dont get it the MSN business model. I have been using Windows 7 Pro. My laptop broke down and I decided to buy a new one. All computers are offered with Windows 8. I spend a great deal of time just to go to all programs and still unsuccessful. Why would a company as big as microsoft want to punish all their customers for not buying an apple computer. I am so sorry I did not and not sure if I am going to be able to use this software. is there a way to downgrade to windows 7

     

    all what I wanted to do is go to all programs, accessories and remote desktop connection to connect to my office computer and I feel like i need to take a course. I am sure MSN has a grand plan for punishing the customer in the short term and I am not sure If it makes any business sense

    Put your mouse in either right corner of any screen and the search icon comes up.  search for remote desktop connection.  it will show the icon and right click it.  click add to task bar.  Now you have remote desktop connection on your task bar at all times and you can just click it rather than clicking start button then accessories to get to it, since you use it so often.  You can also go to start screen, right click blank area to pull up my apps.  Remote desktop connection will be listed as one of your apps, you can right click it there as well and add it to task bar, or you can just go there to find it, or add it to your start screen.  I have things like task manager and control panel in my start screen. 

    Also, if you put your mouse in the bottom left corner it shows the start icon.  Right click there and it will show you many of the options that were in the old start menu.  Before you complain about how you can't do something, you should first figure out how to do it.  Then you can decide if the new way is stupid or not and complain accordingly.  But, just complaining about how you don't know how to do something in a new system is incredibly ignorant.

    if you are on the desktop view, just hit win+Q and you get the apps view immediately.

    It took me a while to find "Them"

           Bring up the Start Menu

           Move down to the bottom where there are no Tiles

           Right Click in the empty Space

           A blue bar will come up with "Alle Apps" on the right end

           Click on All Apps

            When the Apps Screen comes up, scroll to the right

            You will see small blue header called "Accessories"

            The "Accessories" Apps will be listed under it
