Windows 8 is stuck in an automatic repair loop

My windows 8 get in a automatic repair loop and it couldn't repair it. And than it says log file d:\windows\system32\logfiles\srt\srttrail.txt

What to do?

do a selective boot up with bios

get cmd to open and check

bootrec /fixMBR

bootrec /Fixboot

bootrec /rebuildBCD

and also

chkdsk /r c:

chkdsk /r d:

chkdsk /r e:

chkdsk /r f:

then let repair go thowe again and should be stoped

I would suggest you to login to any other computer and create a Windows 8 installation disk. Using that disk you can perform the troubleshooting methods given below.

    This stupid problem also started happening to me

    I know how to get you back into your windows (well this worked for me). My system first says  Preparing Automatic Repair, then Diagnosing Your PC.. Then it takes me to a screen with some options where it saying something like "Windows could not repair your PC"

    What you need to do is go to the troubleshoot option, then go to System Restore, and restore from a restore point which was fine

    Then it works again , but the same thing happened to me then a day later?

    To open the command prompt, I went through the Windows 8.1 Autorepair menu options.

    After it was done "identifying the problem", I saw a few clickable options. I'm going from memory, I believe I selected the following

    • Advanced Repair Options
      • Troubleshoot
        • Advanced Options
          • Command Prompt

    At the command prompt, I entered the command explained by JustinKostic

    for good measure, I also ran:

    X:  scf  /scannow

    I am having the same problem with my dell n5050 stuck in automatic repair and I have done the

    system assessment and no problems found.. I also did the following when I was able to open it

    bootrec /fixMBR

    bootrec /Fixboot

    bootrec /rebuildBCD

    and also

    chkdsk /r c:

    chkdsk /r d:

    chkdsk /r e:

    chkdsk /r f:

    I was able to all except the last 2 on here, it would not take those commands..

    I really hope someone can help me and I have also misplaced my disks I received with my laptop...
