Windows 8 is stuck in an automatic repair loop

My windows 8 get in a automatic repair loop and it couldn't repair it. And than it says log file d:\windows\system32\logfiles\srt\srttrail.txt

What to do?

do a selective boot up with bios

get cmd to open and check

bootrec /fixMBR

bootrec /Fixboot

bootrec /rebuildBCD

and also

chkdsk /r c:

chkdsk /r d:

chkdsk /r e:

chkdsk /r f:

then let repair go thowe again and should be stoped

I would suggest you to login to any other computer and create a Windows 8 installation disk. Using that disk you can perform the troubleshooting methods given below.

    Almost all of what I read here says that when they upgraded from windows 7 or vista they get this loop. I got mine from upgrading from 8 to 8.1! My Windows 8 was working fine but then microsoft suggested that I upgrade to 8.1 and stupid me, I did! and now I get this annoying loop. 

    The only thing that makes me able to use my PC again was by system restore. But if I leave my PC for awhile or if I restart my PC it goes back to the loop and I have to system restore all over again which is annoying since it takes a long time to do and I can't do that every time I want to use my PC!

    About 8.1 not being compatible to computers designed for older versions of windows. My TOSHIBA was designed for windows 8! Is 8.1 that different from 8?

    Ask Toshiba?  Is it still under warranty?  Then you could get individual support, otherwise check their forums, otherwise at least post your product number (aka SKU) and someone may help you do that.

    I was hopeful when I found this post but when I typed in the commands, I only got "The system cannot find the path specified." The third command resulted in 0 windows installations found. WTF!
