Hello Coonut,
Thank you for your reply,
I would suggest you to login to any other computer and create a Windows 8 installation disk. Using that disk you can perform the troubleshooting methods given below.
Refer the link to create the installation disk:
How to create installation media for a PC refresh or reset:

Hope the information helps.
Please reply with the results, in order to help you fix the issue.
Wish u a Happy New Year!
Thank you
Same problem for me.... Non stop "automatic repair loops". Contacted Microsoft support, Tier 1 and spent my morning with them on IM trying to get my PC to even Boot on WIN 8 via DVD, no luck. Reads the DVD for a while then blinks and comes back into the loop. If I Boot from a WIN 7 DVD, no problem and I get the WIN 7 install prompts.... Something very weird, and extremely worrying since this is the Final WIN8 Pro version that has been officially released.
I am scheduled to speak to Tier 2 support tomorrow and will update this as I get the result of that consult....
I have also had the same problem. Have run hardware checks on my laptop. Everything is ok. Memory, disk, Processor.
Have reinstalled my laptop 2 times. And randomly i get this repair loop. Have tried every option in the repair menu and all ends with "couldnt repair". And the loop continues.
Have reverted to Windows 7 temporarily. Really wants to run Windows 8, but as i have no clue to how to fix the problem or what is causing it, i cant.
I have the same problem on a acer aspire v5-431. I tried the solution above but it still does not work. Please provide a solution.
My laptop is one month ols and... dead!
