Hello Coonut,
Thank you for your reply,
I would suggest you to login to any other computer and create a Windows 8 installation disk. Using that disk you can perform the troubleshooting methods given below.
Refer the link to create the installation disk:
How to create installation media for a PC refresh or reset:

Hope the information helps.
Please reply with the results, in order to help you fix the issue.
Wish u a Happy New Year!

This does not work still stuck in automatic repair loop.
As usual Microsoft has put out a subpar **** OS again. I have had this problem 3 times in 2 weeks with a new Acer, this OS completely SUCKS. The boot options are shoddy and not intuitive, the auto-repair function should be called Auto we screwed up your laptop and you need to re-install this crappy OS and lose all of your files in the process.
I tried all these suggetions but none of them are working.
Please note that most of the people have downloaded or upgraded the windows 8 from microsoft site only , then there is no quetion of installation of windows 8 throght DVD or USB and booting the same.
Requesting you to provide ideal/best solution which can work for all the users of windows 8 , it shall be not like you give 10 solutions and we keep on trying every solution and finally we are also not sure whether this will work or not?
Hope , microsoft can resolve this automatic repair issue on urgent basis as this is a very serious issue and needs to be addressed immidiately. Requesting Microsoft to do the needful and inform to every user the common solution to this problem,
Regards,
