Windows 8 is stuck in an automatic repair loop

My windows 8 get in a automatic repair loop and it couldn't repair it. And than it says log file d:\windows\system32\logfiles\srt\srttrail.txt

What to do?

do a selective boot up with bios

get cmd to open and check

bootrec /fixMBR

bootrec /Fixboot

bootrec /rebuildBCD

and also

chkdsk /r c:

chkdsk /r d:

chkdsk /r e:

chkdsk /r f:

then let repair go thowe again and should be stoped

I would suggest you to login to any other computer and create a Windows 8 installation disk. Using that disk you can perform the troubleshooting methods given below.

I would almost bet it has to do with Microsoft drivers for keyboards or mice. When I was using one of the Microsoft mice a while back (in windows 7) it would be fine up until I would install the drivers then would blue screen randomly. These drivers would also install through windows updates. My wife is running windows 8 with a Microsoft mouse and this has happened twice and the she said that windows prompted her to install it shortly before this happened. She said it was acting weird and then she restarted the PC and low and behold the restarting begins. The mouse will work fine until you install the software. So beware of of Microsoft peripherals!!!!

I knew I should have never upgraded to windows 8 from 7 and now allot of people are stuck with a non working machine and possible lost content because of software from Microsoft.

I was in a Microsoft store recently and looked at full install boxes for Windows 8.1 and saw that there is now a disclaimer written on the outside that it may not be suitable for machines which were originally designed for earlier versions of Windows. Caveat emptor?

Having same problem even chatted with support, made iso dvd and also a usb flash drive will not load either, just goes to automatic repair loop.

I opened the boot window changed my boot to the usb flash drive and did the same thing.

Support wanted to charge me $99.00 dollars to try to repair. but, since the iso dvd or flash will not work they said they have no idea.

So windows messed my machine up and now they will not even address this issue at all.

This looks to me to be a good class action lawsuit in the works.

Could this be the work of the hackers that attacked Microsoft just before windows 8 came out, or could this be a bug put in from a employee that has issue. It does seem it has a time delay for just after the 90 day warranty runs out.

As a retired investigator, sure does not pass the smell test.

I am up for a class action lawsuit, if any attorney here wants to think about one.
