Windows 8 is stuck in an automatic repair loop

My windows 8 get in a automatic repair loop and it couldn't repair it. And than it says log file d:\windows\system32\logfiles\srt\srttrail.txt

What to do?

do a selective boot up with bios

get cmd to open and check

bootrec /fixMBR

bootrec /Fixboot

bootrec /rebuildBCD

and also

chkdsk /r c:

chkdsk /r d:

chkdsk /r e:

chkdsk /r f:

then let repair go thowe again and should be stoped

I would suggest you to login to any other computer and create a Windows 8 installation disk. Using that disk you can perform the troubleshooting methods given below.

    Hello, When I do bootrec /rebuildBCD and type in Y for Yes into the command prompt, it comes back with an error message that says 'The requested system device cannot be found.' Even though it is attached, and even shows up my Motherboard's BIOS/

    My Windows 8 will not get even close to that point it wont even do anything it just starts up n

    I had this same issue, and couldn't even reinstall Windows, it kept coming back to a screen saying I had to run Repair. No options, nothing I did, could get past this screen.

    However, I had just installed new RAM in the computer, so thought, why not, and removed the new sticks. Sure enough, everything booted okay after that.

    So if anyone made any hardware changes, and suddenly started getting this problem, try reverting to the original hardware state...hopefully it's that easy.... :)
