Windows 8 is stuck in an automatic repair loop

My windows 8 get in a automatic repair loop and it couldn't repair it. And than it says log file d:\windows\system32\logfiles\srt\srttrail.txt

What to do?

do a selective boot up with bios

get cmd to open and check

bootrec /fixMBR

bootrec /Fixboot

bootrec /rebuildBCD

and also

chkdsk /r c:

chkdsk /r d:

chkdsk /r e:

chkdsk /r f:

then let repair go thowe again and should be stoped

I would suggest you to login to any other computer and create a Windows 8 installation disk. Using that disk you can perform the troubleshooting methods given below.

Ok, seem to be getting allot of emails regarding this subject.

Here is what I did and it works for " me".

I unplug the computer removed panel and remove the battery small "2032" for 30 sec.

If your battery is good or you think it is put back in plug you machine back in and start.

I took me a year to figure it out and now anytime it does this , this is what I do and it works for " me"

I went through allot of what the people say here and it does not work, I even lost everything one time because of reboot and the machine still did it.

So one day, unplugged machine and seen the battery, removed it and put it back in, then restarted the machine and guess what. it fixed the problem for "me" you will not lose anything or files, the battery is just there to hold your boot and once cleared, it boots up correctly.

NOTE" you have to completely unplug the machine do not remove the battery when plugged in.

And that is how I do it every time I run into this issue on any computers I have which is 5 within my family.

NOTE: ground yourself first or grab something to get rid and any electrical charge your body may have before you go poking around in your computer.
