Windows 8 is stuck in an automatic repair loop

My windows 8 get in a automatic repair loop and it couldn't repair it. And than it says log file d:\windows\system32\logfiles\srt\srttrail.txt

What to do?

do a selective boot up with bios

get cmd to open and check

bootrec /fixMBR

bootrec /Fixboot

bootrec /rebuildBCD

and also

chkdsk /r c:

chkdsk /r d:

chkdsk /r e:

chkdsk /r f:

then let repair go thowe again and should be stoped

I would suggest you to login to any other computer and create a Windows 8 installation disk. Using that disk you can perform the troubleshooting methods given below.

    I tried to overclock my PC, and result of that was, that Windows 8.1 does not start anymore. Automatic repair PC had no effect, so I gone to advanced options, and selected to start to Safe Mode. Since then, it has been trying to enter safe mode for one 1 hour, just loading HDD led on a blue/purple screen. I then tried to boot into command promt with a DVD, typed sfc /scannow but it claims to be busy with other operation and tells me to reboot. Now I´m again in the everlasing purple boot screen....

    Is it possible that unsucsessfull overlock could smash my OS permanantly?

    I finally got my computer to boot yesterday.

    First I ran:

    bootrec /fixMBR

    bootrec /fixboot

    bootrec /rebuildbcd

    Rebuildbcd did not find any installed OSes so then runned:

    bcdboot C:\Windows

    This got me out of the auto repair loop but it still could not boot since some .sys file was broken or missing. 

    Restored to a system restore point I did in the beginning of October and then finally I could boot back into win 8.

    I don't know why I didn't stop there and just turned off windows updates. Well guess I was curious and I don't really want to run an unpatched system. 

    So I ran all critical updates and this time it destroyed my registry and the computer can not boot. Automatic repair doesn't work, system restore point I made directly after I had fixed the first problem does not work.

    Really Microsoft! Do you even test those updates before you release the?

    This happened to me today after Windows updates. Has happened once before which led me to a clean install a couple of month ago. This was also during windows update.

    No system restore points work.

    Bootrec /rebuildbcd says I have 0 windows installation.

    How the h*ll can stuff like this happen twice to a modern is like win 8?
