the same problem i did everything that you guys did but nothing helped. maybe because i have 64bit system. i dont know but non of this three shitty sites help if somebody knows what to do heeeeeeeeeeeelp!!!

Hi, I'm here today because I have some problems with Games for Windows Live, or GFWL. I used it for many games, including Arkham Asylum, in which GFWL works fine, but when I try to open up GFWL in Arkham city pressing home, nothing happens. I reinstalled GFWL, updated it, and did all sorts of things, but nothing seems to be working. Any fixes? (Basically, I'm saying that even with GFWL installed, GFWL does not pop up in Arkham City even when I press home button and the "LIVE" button in-game.) Thanks in advance.

Sadly, this hasn't worked for me. I've got the GFWL PC DVD version of BAC.
I followed all the steps for the genuine version. Firstly, Windows 8 will not allow a user to repair or uninstall Net 4 but I found a removal tool from Microsoft. It seems GFWL is not working in the background of BAC. I can run the two applications seperately (the game and the GFWL client) but they don't communicate together.
I then tried the BLACKBOX version with similar results.
Any other ideas? I am now at a complete loss.

2013-02-26T03:47:19+00:00 I followed all of your steps and still had no luck. I am running windows 8 pro x64. When I tried to install the dot.Net.fx 4.0 the installer told me I already had it installed. That was my only deviation from your instructions.
The game launches fine, but the home button does not do anything. Clicking on the windows live button in game also does nothing.
I have installed and reinstalled batman and gfwl over and over. Any other ideas on what I can do to get saves to work?
This is my exact same issue, is there a real fix for this yet? this sucks bigtime. when i log in to gfwl it shows my percentage of game beaten It just wont pop up in game and allow me to continue from last save. please help?
