the same problem i did everything that you guys did but nothing helped. maybe because i have 64bit system. i dont know but non of this three shitty sites help if somebody knows what to do heeeeeeeeeeeelp!!!

Hi, I'm here today because I have some problems with Games for Windows Live, or GFWL. I used it for many games, including Arkham Asylum, in which GFWL works fine, but when I try to open up GFWL in Arkham city pressing home, nothing happens. I reinstalled GFWL, updated it, and did all sorts of things, but nothing seems to be working. Any fixes? (Basically, I'm saying that even with GFWL installed, GFWL does not pop up in Arkham City even when I press home button and the "LIVE" button in-game.) Thanks in advance.

The GFWL panel is not poping out by pressing home button...

My son was playing batman arkham city and the game would not save. We saw something online that said we needed Games for windows live.
We downloaded the installing and it said it was installed.
Turns out we installed this some time before we upgraded the computer from windows 7 to windows 8
The version we had installed has compatibility issues. we uninstalled 2 things from the control panel that were called games for windows live.
then we ran the installer which now said there are compatibility issues. we followed the Microsoft link to a version that works with windows 8, Now the game saves and he had access to a game he saved in 2011.
