Security Updates for KB2518864, KB2572073, KB2633880, KB2656352 try to reinstall repeatedly

Original Title**: Automatic updates for Security Updates for...  ...KB2518864, KB2572073, KB2633880, KB2656352  ...KEEP REPEATING AFTER SUCCESSFUL INSTALL**

My system information:  Windows XP Home Edition, Version 2002, Service Pack 3

I recently have had Automatic Updates appear for Security Updates for Microsoft .NET Framework...  ...KB2518864, KB2572073, KB2633880 and KB2656352.

I click install updates and I watch them install successfully.  And then they come right back wanting to install again and again and again.  UGH!!

I have read many forums and attempted many fixes, (even the Microsoft Mr. Fixit).  I am not too technical and refuse to attempt some of the fixes that had me going and making changes to the registry without knowing exactly what I am doing.  I know that making one small mistake in the registry can mess up my enitre system.

I need a simple solution to this annoying problem.  Please put the solution in laymen terms for the technically challenged.

As of 10 a.m pacific you shouldn't be getting these updates offered up anymore.

    When installation fail the kit is locate in  the directory :

    C:\WINDOWS\SoftwareDistribution\Download\Install

    I try to install this kit manually and always it's work.

     I notice that all the updates have visual 2010 component install . Is this the problem?

    On May 21, I started getting reports that three older .NET updates — (KB 2518864 (MS11-044), KB 2572073 (MS11-078), and KB 2633880 (MS12-016) — were being offered over and over again or repeatedly reinstalled on Windows XP and Server 2003 SP2 systems. 

    As it turns out, the problem wasn't with these three updates; it was caused by an installation problem with KB 2604092 (MS12-035), a critical .NET 2.0 fix. The patch was republished on May 22 with what Microsoft cryptically calls a "detection change." 

    Microsoft isn't saying what was wrong with MS12-035. It states in the bulletin's FAQ only that if it's installed, you do not need to install it again on Windows XP and Server 2003 SP2 systems. Nor has Microsoft explained why, when KB 2604092 was pulled to fix the detection issue, the three older .NET updates suddenly reappeared on computers set to download updates automatically. 

    Based on postings in a Windows Answers forum, some Microsoft customers are understandably upset about the constant issues with .NET updating. 

    What to do: If you're running Windows XP, take a pass on KB 2604092 (MS12-035) until we're sure there are no more problems with it. 

    Should I delete 092?

    Attempted to download (KB2572073) (KB2633880)(KB2518864) for the upteenth time.

    Download 

    Turn off PC with update shield

    Watch PC download 3 updates and shutoff

    Review Add/Remove programs under .NET Framework 2.0 Service Pack 2 

    DID NOT DOWNLOAD. I checked other .net sections and no download.

     Anyone have any ideas?
