How do I create new folders or delete folders that I don’t want in my Mail app?

The Mail app shows the folders that are configured with each mail account. If you need to create, rename, or delete a folder, sign in to the web service for your account, such as Hotmail, and make the changes there. Any changes you make to folders through your accounts’ web interface will be automatically reflected in Mail the next time you sync the account.

    To delete email folders within Outlook, do I select the empty folder & then select delete?

    The Mail app is storing the login password as a FOLDER name. This is clearly wrong.

    I tried to delete the folder named for the password but get an error and am unable to remove it. This only shows up on the Surface so this is clearly a Surface issue. I have a MAC and have used other devices and the folder does not appear.

    How do I get the folder removed?

    Where in Outlook does it let me delete some folders? I emptied them, but i want them out!

    In Hotmail, there is no + sign next to 'all folders'.
