How do I create new folders or delete folders that I don’t want in my Mail app?

The Mail app shows the folders that are configured with each mail account. If you need to create, rename, or delete a folder, sign in to the web service for your account, such as Hotmail, and make the changes there. Any changes you make to folders through your accounts’ web interface will be automatically reflected in Mail the next time you sync the account.

    Thanks.

    I always have been able to add folders to my Windows Live Mail, which I was using.  Since upgrading to Windows 10, I have been using the Win 10 default Mail, which I believe is the new Outlook.  I am trying to add folders to that email program.  Otherwise, I like it.

    Can you help me?

    1. go to outlook.com
    2. sign in with your email account (live.com) or your Microsoft account if you have one 

    3, create your folder

    4.  then go to your windows (live) account and (sync) it until you see your new folder

    I don't understand where I have to go to add folders to my Windows 10 Mail program.  I used Windows Live before.  Can I create folders in Windows Live then sync the programs?
