It's all the same with you guys who defend the undefendable. You simply either do not know, or won't tell the truth. I have new 64bit win system, running at 3.5 gg hrtz, 16 gig ram. I run graphic applications. Quite suddenly, I began crashing, lost work,
display driver not responding. I was dumbfounded. In my task manager, I found strongvault running. Running? I did not even know what it was. I had a clean install, a fresh machine, and your product was RUNNING?
Perhaps you need to be educated in how virus's began in the first place. Some little script joke on a friend. A face or something poped up and said boo' or hi, or something. Innocent at first, until the little scripts interfered with other system functions.
Whatever it is, I can see it in my process and apps, yet I can not find it anywhere in my search. Why is that? If it is so good, why do I now know how it came into my system? Does the word 'insidious,' mean anything to you? I am so fed up with corrupt
software companies who carry an air of respectability. Strong vault has messed my system up to such a degree, that I have lost income for the last few weeks. I can't find it, and can't get it out. Just like a Virus. How dare you insult any of here with
legit issues, by saying 'Your program has done no harm.' Are you going to compansate me for my lost work?
People, this guy and his program is another to avoid.
YOu from Strongvault, I don't need a reply from you. In my opinion you are a spin doctor of the lowest order, who makes a living fixing the problems you create for others.
I haven't read all 13 pages on this issue, but of the ones I have read, your level of anger on this issue seems to match mine. I am absolutely incandescent with rage about this Del Boy outfit and their evil practices. I agree with everything you say and you
said it so well!
I found Strongvault on my laptop three days ago (the 27th January), so they are still operating in a totally unprofessional way all these months on from the first complaints. I DID NOT download this "rogue" programme onto my computer ( I already have
cloud backup), so why would I download another backup system?
I found the orange shield icon all over my task and start bars and tracked it down to my download folder, so deleted it. Then deleted the icons. They reappeared and then I started getting pop-up ads - even one with music - made me jump out of my skin!
Really frightened by now as have lost two laptops to hackers/viruses. I could hear someone else clicking on my laptop earlier today (yes I swear!) - so I pulled the plug on router but expecting it to crash any minute as even if this cowboy outfit are legit,
their software may be an open door to hackers/trojans.
I have tried to uninstall via control panel but a message pops up to say "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program required for this install to complete could not be run. Contact your support personnel or package vendor". They
have done this via a piece of script I bet, just so that they cannot be installed. That has got to be totally illegal, let alone immoral. B******s!
Do I really want to go onto their website and use their systems to uninstall as they suggest, no I DO NOT - but I am forced to do so - will report back when I have tried. I think that we should spread the word on this and at the very least should contact
Trading Standards? Are there any bodies that regulate the Internet/Software producers? I am all up for writing a press release.
