I have just used the Microsoft Fix It wizard and had to use it twice as Strongvault was in my programmes folder twice - so watch out for that. Very strange as it was only in there once when I looked earlier. I think it is mutating/duplicating
itself! I am not convinced I have got rid of it, as I checked my Start bar and it was there even though I had deleted it previously. Deleted it again, but not convinced that all the files are gone. Have emptied recycle bin too - just in case it can do harm
from there. Will report back if this "Alien" software either "reappears" or if more strange things continue to happen. Still mad as **** about this - someone needs to put cowboy companies like these out of business.
If you check out stronghold.com who are the holding company for stonrgvault on www.scamadvisor.com
You get these details which shows that the owner/s of the company are hiding their identities by registering with Domainsbyproxy.com - see wiki article: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Domains\_by\_Proxy
Make of that what you will?!!! Suffice to say that groups like Anonymous are very anti people hiding behind websites that can only be indentified when forced by the US Government. Just as I thought a cowboy outfit.
