Creating a new user profile is no major task. I cannot say, however, whether it will ensure that Panda is recognised by the Security Center.

Just to let you know, I had an issue with Panda telling me that the protection level was low.  This was fixed by Panda Tech Support, who told me that the issue I have with Panda IS 2012 reporting itself as being switched off, is a system issue and that I have to get in touch with the person who built the system, who can't help anyway.

I suppose I could get in touch with Microsoft, but I can't afford £45. Anyway, more than likley, I'll be told that I will have to create a new user profile.

Outlook 2003 and I've seen on a forum that this can be due to a virus.

Whenever many users have an unexplained problems they conclude it is malware. Most errors don't repeat. Those that do occur as often as not because of user error. I have not used Outlook 2003 but I imagine that Microsoft never resolved all the bugs. Some errors occur because the system is under stress because the tasks it is trying to do, need more memory / ram than is available. Other software does not always work with Outlook in the way it is intended..........

I've used TDSS Killer, Panda, MBAM, Panda Nemesis, Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool, ESET and apart from a Trojan.

My computer hasn't crashed, although some programs stop working now and again, such as Outlook 2003 and I've seen on a forum that this can be due to a virus.
