I tried to update the .net framework 3.5 on my windows 8 but I keep getting this error code 0x800f0922. I tried all the methods I can find on the internet but I still cannot solve the problem. pls help.

I HAVE THE SOLUTION!

Go to Control Panel/System and Security/Action Center

There is a title: "Review recent messages and resolve problems"

Under that I had three warnings. Than I turned everything on.

After that I was able to install .net 3.5 without the 0x800f0922 error code.

Use the

Control Panel | Programs and Features | Turn Windows features on or off.

solution.

I hope it works for everyone with this.

I had the same issue but updating the Group Policy Setting under administrative tab helped...

    I share your sentiments about Microsoft, although I actually like Win8 (having got rid of all the outer-level cr*p). I have tried every fix for NET 3.5 and nothing works, but they don't come up with anything new to fix it!

    NOTE: If you upgraded to Win8 Final (i.e., from Win7 and/or Win8 Release Preview) & find that you cannot enable .NET Framework 3.5, you may have a "horked" install of Win8 - in which case you can try running a Refresh or even a Reset (but not a Restore).
