I tried to update the .net framework 3.5 on my windows 8 but I keep getting this error code 0x800f0922. I tried all the methods I can find on the internet but I still cannot solve the problem. pls help.

I HAVE THE SOLUTION!
Go to Control Panel/System and Security/Action Center
There is a title: "Review recent messages and resolve problems"
Under that I had three warnings. Than I turned everything on.
After that I was able to install .net 3.5 without the 0x800f0922 error code.
Use the
Control Panel | Programs and Features | Turn Windows features on or off.

I had the same issue but updating the Group Policy Setting under administrative tab helped...

Hope someone can save some time..
To get this working - I reapplied the Win8 install from within Win8 and told it to keep all my programs, settings etc. After it rebooted and applied the normal processes, I was able to go to Control Panel > Programs and Features...and I was able to now update .NetFx35. It is now working beautifully and no more error 0x800f0922!
I do not have the Win 8 to Install. The system is brand new ZT with Win8 Pre-Install.
I have tried many different option.
Using DSIM command line, PC Referesh, ... None seem to work.
Feels like Windows 8 is a piece of ****. the request to install .net framework 3.5 keep on popping up, and the error to install it is happening over and over. Error Code: 0x800F0922 . I search the net, the support from microsoft and tried everything they suggested, nothing is working. To you guys in Microsoft, if I know your Windows 8 having problem like this, I wouldn't even upgrade it, even it is for free. you guys are wasting our time, and giving us more stress on the top of our daily work.
