I tried to update the .net framework 3.5 on my windows 8 but I keep getting this error code 0x800f0922. I tried all the methods I can find on the internet but I still cannot solve the problem. pls help.

I HAVE THE SOLUTION!

Go to Control Panel/System and Security/Action Center

There is a title: "Review recent messages and resolve problems"

Under that I had three warnings. Than I turned everything on.

After that I was able to install .net 3.5 without the 0x800f0922 error code.

Use the

Control Panel | Programs and Features | Turn Windows features on or off.

solution.

I hope it works for everyone with this.

I had the same issue but updating the Group Policy Setting under administrative tab helped...

In Win8, .NET Framework 3.5.1 is installed but not enabled. If all is well with your computer and it's connected to the internet [**<=IMPORTANT!**], you can enable (turn on) .NET Framework 3.5.1 via
**Control Panel | Programs and Features | Turn Windows features on or off**.
